Gen has a sweet disposition, and she is well travelled. Gen spends the summer at Ruffwood Brittany Kennels in Cayuga, Ontario, and the winter with her former co-owners Gil and Jane Hopper in Arizona. She spent her first winter hunting in Arizona, and while in Ontario, spring and summer, Mike trained her some more for field, and she went to for photo shoots in Toronto. After three successful auditions, Gen was selected for the Purina One packaging for their bright green bag. Look at those muscles. Gen also has 3 - 3 pt. majors in the U.S. with limited showing. She is just a great all round Brittany! Gen has also finished her Canadian Show Championship. Gen is due to have her first itter of puppies mid August 2015.

Gen finished her CKC Show Championship on June 26, 2011 at the Hamilton Kennel Club show under judge, Chris Neilson. She was exclusively owner trained, groomed and handled by Donna Wilshire. Now she will go back to field training with Mike Wilshire for the summer.

Gen's parents are both Ruffwood Brittanys. Both Brittanys have Show Championship titles as well as Field Dog Jr., and/or Field Dog titles.
Ch. Ruffwood's Rustic Hunter, F.D. had 7 points toward his Canadian Field Trial Championship when his owner retired him while starting his own business.
Ch. Ruffwood's Foxy Lady, F.D.J. is now working on agility. They are both great dual purpose Brittanys with great owners!
